Representing the PNW Ocean Life

Creator of Getting Salty, Kolin Hansen, is a diver who was certified in the waters of British Columbia. Over the years, Kolin noticed an underrepresentation of the incredible ocean life in the Pacific Northwest in merchandise and media. He noticed that trinkets, shirts and bags only really promoted tropical aspects of diving, and thus set out on a mission to showcase some of the sea creatures and plant-life that we get to experience here on the coast of British Columbia. These species include the Giant Pacific Octopus, Puget Sound King Crabs, countless nudibranchs and a vast variety of fish.

Getting Salty sells a variety of incredible stickers showcasing the underwater species native to the Pacific Northwest, alongside an array of merchandise and apparel including tote bags, t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies.

Getting Salty is the creator of Diving In's stickers, which can be purchased at our cleanups for $2 each, or for free if you take part in the cleanup! All proceeds go toward supporting the project.
