July 21st Shoreline and Underwater Cleanup
On July 21st, Diving In: The Art of Cleaning Lakes and Oceans hosted our second community shoreline and underwater cleanup. It was held in Ambleside in West Vancouver, British Columbia.
This cleanup marks the second community cleanup for us, and the 150th cleanup dive for Divers for Cleaner Lakes and Oceans!

We had a total of 18 volunteers who came out for the cleanup, alongside the teams from the Squamish Arts Council and West Vancouver Arts Council who facilitated the event.
The volunteers managed to collect over 20 bags of trash from the shoreline and grassy areas surrounding Ambleside. Meanwhile, the divers main finds included two cellphones, countless crab traps, and two shopping carts!
We would like to thank the wonderful volunteers who came out and took part, as well as our partners: Gaia & Company, Getting Salty, Whistler Blackcomb Foundation and Sea to Sky Courier.
